SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Seattle U women's basketball heads back to the road on the week of Thanksgiving, taking on San Diego State this Friday. The matchup between the Redhawks and Aztecs begins at 2 p.m. pacific time at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California. The first ever meeting between the two schools will not feature any live streaming but will include radio and live stats.

CLARK CAN SCORE
Sophomore Taliyah Clark was Seattle U's leading scorer last Thursday against Portland State, finishing with a new career-high 19 points. The native of Lynwood, Wash., knocked down five three-pointers to go along with five rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks on the night. Clark leads the team in made field goals (16) and scoring (11.5) as well as ranking second in made threes (nine).
WALKER FROM DISTANCE
Sophomore Julianna Walker had her best performance in a Redhawk uniform last week, setting a new career-high with 18 points. In 31 minutes of action, Walker converted on six three-pointers to go along with four rebounds and three steals. The Tacoma, Wash., native leads Seattle U in three-pointers made (10) and three-point percentage (40%).
BENCH IMPACT
Freshman Noemie Bariteau and Mya Moore provided valuable minutes for the Redhawks off the bench. In a career-high 31 minutes, Bariteau logged eight points, five rebounds, two steals and assists against UC Irvine, all of which are career-bests. Moore was a much needed interior presence, logging 19 points and eight rebounds over two games.
HITTING THE GLASS
The Redhawks were very strong on the glass over the past two games, out rebounding both Portland State and UC Irvine. Over the weekend, SU logged 29 total offensive rebounds and finished with a 37-9 overall second chance point difference.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Mercedes Staples leads the Aztecs, averaging 14.6 points per game and finished with a season-high 20 points in their last win over Portland. Asia Avinger and Sophia Ramos also average double-digit points, logging 12.0 and 10.0, respectively.
