Volleyball's Season Concludes in Riverside

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Seattle U volleyball concluded the 2022-23 season on Saturday, falling to California Baptist in three sets (17-25, 19-25, 11-25). The Western Athletic (WAC) matchup took place at the Van Dyne Gym in Riverside, California.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Seattle U volleyball concluded the 2022-23 season on Saturday, falling to California Baptist in three sets (17-25, 19-25, 11-25). The Western Athletic (WAC) matchup took place at the Van Dyne Gym in Riverside, California.

The Redhawks jumped out to strong starts in set's one and two but were unable to continue that momentum throughout the entire set.

Senior Lauren McCabe finished the season with a strong performance, recording six kills, five total blocks, three digs and two service aces. Fellow senior Ezgi Ozkan assisted on 19 points as well as adding six digs and two total blocks. Freshman Ellie Gordon (five) and Erin Fagan (seven) both set new career-highs in kills, while sophomore Selin Isik also had a career best performance with three total blocks.
