Redhawks Claim More Victories in Day Two of EWU Hidden Dual

CHENEY, Wash. - In Day Two of the EWU Hidden Dual Tournament, Seattle U Women's tennis picked up wins in both singles (5:2) and doubles (2:1) against Eastern Washington.

CHENEY, Wash. - In Day Two of the EWU Hidden Dual Tournament, Seattle U Women's tennis picked up wins in both singles (5:2) and doubles (2:1) against Eastern Washington. 

Jade Quintana and Liliya Dimova (6:1) teamed up to defeat EWU's pairing of Foshee and Vasic. In Day One of the tournament, Dimova picked up singles and doubles wins against Montana and Idaho, and Quintana won her singles match against Idaho's Saffron Dowse. Additionally, Mireia Fehr and Lola Tavcar (6:3) won their match against EWU's Nizetic and Andersen. Seattle U defeated EWU 2:1. 

In singles, both Jade Quintana (7:5, 6:0) and Liliya Dimova (6:4, 6:3) defeated their opponents after winning together in doubles. Quintana defeated Kenzington Mann and Dimova defeated Renata Gabuzyan.  

Also picking up a win in singles is Elena Kraleva (7:5, 1:6, 7:5), as she defeated Taylor Andersen. Kraleva has been having a very successful run in the tournament so far, in Day One, she picked up wins in both singles and doubles. The Redhawks defeated EWU 5:2 due to Eastern pulling out one of their players, as well as them not having a sixth athlete to play. 

The Redhawks will resume play in Day Three of the EWU Hidden Dual against University of Montana.
