TOURNAMENT PREVIEW: Women's Golf at Boston College Intercollegiate

CANTON, Mass. – Seattle U women's golf will compete in its third tournament in as many weeks, traveling to Canton, Mass., for the Boston College Intercollegiate. The two-day event is scheduled to take place at Blue Hill Country Club on the 6,137 yards course with a par of 72. Monday will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. ET, while Tuesday's tee time will be based on scoring from the first two rounds.

The two-day event is scheduled to take place at Blue Hill Country Club on the 6,137 yards course with a par of 72. Monday will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. ET, while Tuesday's tee time will be based on scoring from the first two rounds. 

The Redhawks will be competing against golfers from Boston College, Boston University, Creighton, Elon, Fairfield, Holy Cross, Merrimack College, Long Island, Monmouth, Quinnipiac, Rollins College, Sacred Heart, Siena, Hartford and Wagner. Seattle U's team lineup will consist of graduate student Samantha Bruce, senior Azumi Arai, sophomores Annika Cruz and Rivekka Jumagulova and freshman Aaryanna Morris

Seattle U last competed in the Boston College Intercollegiate in 2019 when the Redhawks claimed second place and finished three in the top-10. 

Bruce has started the season right where she left off last year, finishing in the top-11 at both tournaments. The native of Makati City, Philippines, broke program record for lowest round (64), lowest round vs. par (8-under), lowest 36 hole total (137) and lowest 54 hole total (210) at the Green Wave Classic.
