SEATTLE – The Seattle U Redhawks finished off a series sweep of the Dixie State Trailblazers, winning 7-0 at Logan Field. Carley Nance recorded the tenth multi-homer game in Seattle U history and third of her career, hitting a solo shot in the second and a three-run bomb in the fifth. In all, Nance would drive in six runs, matching the program record also accomplished by Madison Cathcart in 2018 and Savannah Loomis in 2017.

Seattle U moves to 21-14 overall and 7-2 in WAC play on the season. The Redhawks are on a four-game win streak and have won five of their last six.

Stefanie Madrigal had another excellent game in the circle, shutting out Dixie State in the complete-game win. Madrigal matched her career high with eight strikeouts, including back-to-back strikeouts with the bases loaded in the fourth to get out of a jam.

The top of the order continued its hot hitting for the Redhawks has Olivia Viggiano, Tai Wilson, and Madison Kahwaty all had hits for the fourth straight game. Seattle U's 1-2-3-4 hitters combined for seven runs and seven RBI in the game.
