"Greg is a fiery competitor who instinctively understands my coaching style," said Cole. "He has the ability to condense key information into nuggets that athletes can digest easily and help them perform at their best. He was the candidate who naturally understood my vision for the Seattle U program and was immediately able to offer elements to enrich the athlete experience."
As a player, Coverdale spent eight years playing professionally, earning a third-place finish in 2016 in the NVL. In college, Coverdale earned two All-American awards, entering the California Lutheran Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011.
"Mo is the type of coach who rarely has to demand anything from her athletes because they adore her so much they wouldn't dare disappoint her," said Cole. "She was the easiest hire I've ever made. She fits effortlessly into the Seattle U model that puts athlete's welfare first and combines that with a determination to win. She is ready to jump in and help complete the work to make this program successful."
