After clinching their first ever Western Athletic Conference regular season title, the Redhawk men have earned the second seed in the 10-team bracket, while the women are seeded ninth among 10 competing teams.

The Redhawk men's second seed earns them a pass into the tournament's semifinal round. Earlier round results will determine their opponent for Friday's 8:30 p.m. tip off. Teams on Seattle U's side of the bracket include third seed, and co-regular season champion, Stephen F. Austin, sixth seed Abilene Christian, seventh seed Utah Valley and 10th seed Chicago State. A win for the Redhawk men would result in a championship game match-up on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Women's play begins Tuesday, March 8 with two opening-round games at Michelob Ultra Arena in Mandalay Bay. Seattle U will head to Vegas as the ninth seed after winning their final two regular season games to finish 11-18 overall and 6-12 in WAC play. The Redhawks will take on eighth-seed UTRGV in the opening round on Tuesday at 12 p.m. The two teams split the two-game regular season series, each winning on their home court. A victory over the Vaqueros would move the Redhawks along to the 12 p.m. first round game Wednesday, March 9 against fifth seed Abilene Christian.
