BANDON, Ore. - Seattle U men's golf gets straight back into action Sunday at the Bandon Dunes Invitational, hosted by Idaho, in Bandon, Oregon. The three day, 54 hole event is scheduled to take place from Mar. 6-8 at the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort on the 6,748 yards Sheep Ranch course with a par of 71. All three days will feature shotgun starts, teeing off at 8:30 a.m.
The Redhawks will be competing against golfers from Air Force, Army, Boston College, California Baptist, Fresno State, Hartford, Idaho, Kansas, Oregon, SIU Edwardsville, San Jose State, Utah, Utah Valley and Washington State. Seattle U's lineup will consist of seniors Nathan Cogswell, Federico Gutierrez and Jack Rahon, sophomore Blake Kukula and freshman Liam Gill, while senior Harrison Murphy and junior Alex Fowke will compete as individuals.
This will be the Redhawks third consecutive year attending the Bandon Dunes Invitational. Last year, Rahon and Gutierrez shot season low rounds of 68 and 69 during the final round to finish tied for 23rd, leading the way for Seattle U.
