EUGENE, Ore. - Seattle U men's golf concluded play at the Oregon Duck Invitational Tuesday, finishing 14th out of 14 teams. The two-day, 54-hole event took place at the Eugene Country Club on the 7,015 yards course with a par of 71.
Leading the way for the Redhawks was senior Jack Rahon (69-73-76), tying for 19th overall with a three round total of 218. The Orange, Calif., native had a strong showing in the first round, finishing one stroke off his season low round (68) after making eagle on nine and four birdies on the back nine.
Fellow senior Nathan Cogswell (73-74-76) was the next best, tying for seventh in par four scoring average (4.06) and score (two-over). Sophomore Blake Kukula (79-72-75) finished three strokes behind him, while freshman Liam Gill (79-80-82) finished with a three-round total of 241. Rounding out the team score was senior Federico Gutierrez (75-83), who withdrew in round three. Junior Alex Fowke (76-79-77) competed as an individual and posted a three-round total of 232.
