Seattle U had seven swims at the first day on the National Invitational Championships.

ELKHART, Ind.  – The Seattle U Redhawks put up some impressive scores on the first day of the National Invitational Championship. Seattle U had seven swims, all on the men's side, in the first of three days at the NIC.

Will Corona finished 19th in the 200 IM, making the B Final and picking up points for the Redhawks. Corona swam a 1:51.14 in that event.
 
Jack Neton swam three times for the Redhawks, starting with his 26.99 time in the 50 Breast. Neton also swam a 1:56.44 in the 200 IM. Along with Cole Lanting, Andres Banuelos, and Tyler Goodspeed, Neton was part of a 1:25.49 time in the 200 Free Relay.
 
Lanting swam in the 200 IM as well, earning a time of 1:52.27.
 
In the 500 Free, Banuelos paced the Redhawks with his time of 4:41.68. Justin Kalugin also swam the 500 Free, putting up a time of 4:45.92.
 
The Redhawks are back in action tomorrow with day two of the National Invitational Championships. Seattle U will be represented in the 100 Fly, 200 Free, 100 Breast, 100 Back, 200 Medley Relay, and 800 Free Relay.
