HOUSTON, Texas  – The Seattle U Redhawks set nine more all-time top-ten times on Friday, making it 27 new times already through three days of the WAC Championships.
 
Sammy Mosier and Will Corona nearly had the best times in Seattle U history in the 100 Fly and 100 Back, respectively. Mosier swam a 55.89 in the 100 Fly, just over half a second behind the school record. Corona had a 49.53 in the prelims of the 100 Back, the second-fastest time in Seattle U history and a full 0.29 seconds faster than Corona's previous career best.
 
Mosier was also a part of the eighth-fastest 400 Medley Relay in school history. Mosier joined Lydia Genson, Kalie Bui, and Allison Plamondon in swimming a 3:51.92 in that event. Genson had the eighth-fastest 200 Free time by herself with a 1:53.54. Bui also impressed, with a 1:05.33 in the 100 Breast that was the sixth-fastest in school history.
 
Maggie Robben also pushed herself into the 200 Free's all-time top ten, just beating Genson with a 1:53.47. On the men's side, Jaxon Gonzales made his way into the 100 Breast top ten with a 57.03, good for ninth all-time.
 
Michaela Day had the fifth-fastest 400 IM in school history individually, swimming a 4:31.58. Eric Thomure swam a 49.18 in the 100 Fly prelims, good for the ninth-fastest time in school history.
 
The WAC Championships conclude tomorrow. Prelims for the 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast, and 200 Fly will begin at 8:30 am PT. The finals for all of those events, as well as the 400 Free Relay and 1650 Free, with begin at 4:00 pm PT.
