SEATTLE - After two postponements, Seattle U will start conference play this week, hosting Chicago State. Seattle U last started WAC play at home in 2019-20, falling to UMKC. The Redhawks won their WAC home opener last year, 86-54 over Tarleton State. The Redhawks are 3-2 in WAC home openers under Suzy Barcomb.

JADYNN O-LEXANDER
Jadynn Alexander is averaging 10 PPG over the last three games, with two double-digit performances. In her first seven games as a Redhawk, Alexander had a single-game high of seven points, scoring more than five twice. She has scored at least seven in each of the last three games, including 13 against Montana. Alexander has taken at least eight shots in four of the last five games after doing so in none of Seattle U's first six games.
TEAM O
The Redhawks have had at least nine players score in back-to-back games, with 11 players scoring at least one bucket against Western Oregon. Seven players are averaging at least 5 PPG this year, led by Bree Calhoun (10.2) and McKenzi Williams (10.1). Only one of the eight players averaging at least 15 MPG is scoring less than 5 PPG: Hailey Vice-Neat, who is at 3.7 PPG and has scored five or more in three of the five games she has played 20+ minutes.
YOU CAN'T SPELL REDHAWKS WITHOUT D
The Redhawks are now fifth in the WAC in opponent field goal percentage, just 0.4% behind third-place California Baptist's 36.2 mark and 3.6% behind conference-leading Tarleton. Only three opponents have shot over 40% this season, with just one shooting at least 50%: Washington, which shot exactly 50% from the field. Twice this year the Redhawks have held the opposition under 25% shooting: Western Oregon shot just 23.7% from the field and Northwest shot 17.9%.
NOTHING BUT NET
Taliyah Clark went 2-for-2 against Western Oregon to improve her shooting percentage to 65.4% this season. Clark has shot over 60% in six games this year. Only twice all year has she taken more than one shot without a make, going 0-for-2 against both Montana and Montana State. While Clark does not have enough makes to qualify for the conference lead, she would be leading the WAC in FG% by over 5%.
OL' RELIABLE
Peyton Howard has scored between four and eight points in seven straight games, scoring exactly seven four times in that span. Howard has taken double-digit shots just once all year and has taken fewer than four shots just twice. In her ten starts, Howard is averaging 6.6 PPG and 3.3 RPG.
RAINING THREES
Courtney Murphy needs three more three pointers to become the fourth Redhawk ever with 150 or more in their career. She would join Kaylee Best (195), Ashley Payne (168), and Jessie DeLauney (153) in that regard. Murphy has made at least one three in 54 of her 63 career games and has made multiple in 45 games.
GUNNING FROM THREE
Irena Korolenko dipped under 40% from three-point range for the first time since game three this year and now sits at 39.5% on the season. Korolenko is now ninth in the WAC in three-point shooting percentage. She needs just five more three-pointers to reach 50 in her career and 18 more field goals to reach 100 in her career.
