SEATTLE - Seattle U women's tennis has announced the addition of two talented student athletes for the Class of 2022. Shuanghui Huang and Lola Tavcar have signed National Letters of Intent to play tennis for the Redhawks starting next fall.
"I am thrilled to welcome Shuanghui and Lola to Seattle U," said Head Coach Kristina Hollander. "They both join from very competitive backgrounds and have sustained high levels of academics. They are wonderful additions to our Redhawk family and I am very happy they will be joining us in the fall."
Huang joins Seattle U from Kunming Yunnan, China. Her resume includes tournament wins at the 2016 IMG Tennis Master Series, 2017 LAC level six and 2017 Vencedora Open.
Tavcar, currently a senior at Grg 23 Draschestraße in Vienna, Austria, joins the Redhawks after demonstrating strong play in 2021. She won the Austrian National Championship under 18 in the doubles bracket, while also posting second place finishes in doubles at the ITF J3 Wels and the Austrian National Championship.
