NIFTY 50
McKenzi Williams started the 50th game of her career last week. Williams has started all but one game since the start of last season, a streak of 34 starts in 35 games. She has played 25 minutes or more in 31 of those 35 games, including nine of ten games this season.
ALEX-OFFENSE
Jadynn Alexander had 13 points in her first five games as a Redhawk. She matched that total against Montana, scoring ten points in the third quarter alone. Over the last four games, Alexander has 29 points and ten steals. She has played at least 24 minutes in all four of those games after reaching that mark once in the first six games of the season.
VICE-NEAT WON'T BE BEAT
Hailey Vice-Neat has more than doubled her season rebounding total in the last two games. That includes a nine-rebound effort against Montana, the fourth-highest rebounding total of Vice-Neat's career. The senior also has recorded multiple blocks in three of the last five games. She has four blocks and five steals in the last four games.
SWIPES
After leading the WAC in steals last year, Bree Calhoun is second this year, just one behind the conference leader, Stephen F. Austin's Stephanie Visscher. Calhoun has at least three steals in five consecutive games, with four steals in four of those games. Calhoun broke the 100-steal mark in her Seattle U career in just 34 games. Despite being in just her second season at Seattle U, Calhoun is now eighth among active players in the WAC in career steals.
SETTLING IN
Peyton Howard has started nine straight games for the Redhawks. In that time, the sophomore has scored at least five points seven times. She has at least three rebouns in five of her starts and has multiple assists in seven. Howard also is shooting 60% from three-point range since starting the year missing her first two attempts. That includes making four of her last five three-point attempts.
RAINING THREES
Courtney Murphy needs four more three pointers to become the fourth Redhawk ever with 150 or more in their career. She would join Kaylee Best (195), Ashley Payne (168), and Jessie DeLauney (153) in that regard. Murphy has made at least one three in 53 of her 62 career games and has made multiple in 45 games.
GUNNING FROM THREE
Irena Korolenko is shooting 41.5% from three this season, including a 45.5% mark in the last two games. Korolenko has made multiple threes in six games this season. She has only two games in which she has attempted multiple three-pointers and not made multiple. Korolenko is tenth in the WAC in three-point percentage this year: only two players, Lamar's Sabria Dean and Abilene Christian's Kamryn Mraz are shooting a higher percentage while taking more than Korolenko's 4.1 three-pointers per game.
