• Junior Declan McGlynn was chosen WAC Offensive Player of the Week, for the period ending on Oct. 31. The forward scored three goals in a pair of home wins that saw the Redhawks score eight goals over the weekend. It is the fourth weekly conference honor of the Kirkland, Wash., native's career and second of this season.
• The Redhawks beat Chicago State, 4-1, at Championship Field on Oct. 31 for its third consecutive win. Goals from Levonte Johnson, Declan McGlynn, Noe Meza and Hal Uderitz clinched a berth to the WAC tournament.
• San Jose State narrowly defeated Houston Baptist, 3-2, in San Jose on Oct. 31. Rudi Castro and Willy Miranda lead the Spartans with five goals each this season.
• Seattle U shutout Houston Baptist, 4-0, on Oct. 29. Second half goals from Levonte Johnson, Declan McGlynn and Sam Tessler seal a Redhawks' victory.
• SU defeated UTRGV, 3-2, in Edinburg on Oct. 24. Noe Meza opened the scoring early, while James Morris doubled the lead in the 24th minute and Hal Uderitz scored the game winning goal from the penalty spot.
• Seattle U fell, 1-0, at Incarnate Word on Oct. 22. The Redhawks held a 7-4 advantage on corners and Declan McGlynn led all players with three shots but they couldn't beat the Cardinals goalie.
• SU came from behind to defeat WAC leading Air Force, 2-1, at Championship Field on Oct. 16. Declan McGlynn tied the match in the 53rd minute and Habib Barry scored the game winning goal almost exactly at the 72nd minute mark.
• Seattle U defeated Utah Valley, 2-1, at UVU on Oct. 9. Declan McGlynn scored the opener and Levonte Johnson sealed the victory with a fantastic individual effort.
• The Redhawks fell, 2-1 in overtime, at California Baptist on Oct. 7. Akili Kasim contributed six saves in the match.
• SU beat Dixie State, 4-0, as James Morris led the way with two goals and an assist on Oct. 3. Habib Barry and Tom Fielding each scored and Akili Kasim picked up a shutout as the Redhawks finished a weekend sweep at Championship Field.
• Akili Kasim notched his fourth shutout of the season and the 17th of his SU career in a 4-0 win over DSU on Oct. 3. Shane Haworth is the lone Redhawk with more shutouts in SU's Division I program history (19).
• Seattle U took down UNLV, 2-0, in its WAC home opener on Oct. 1. Akili Kasim matched his career high with nine saves on his way to his 16th career shutout. Hal Uderitz and Levonte Johnson each scored in the victory at Championship Field.
• SU fell, 1-0, at No. 19 Grand Canyon in the WAC opener on Sept. 25. Akili Kasim logged three saves in the contest, as the Redhawks outshot the Lopes, 17-14, on the night.
• The Redhawks took No. 3 Washington to overtime on Sept. 20, but the Huskies escaped with a 2-1 decision in the WAC/101 Club Cup at Championship Field. Declan McGlynn scored in the 73rd minute to force OT in the rivalry match.
• SU's game with UW on Sept. 20 saw 1,377 fans come to Championship Field. It marks the most fans at a Redhawk men's soccer match since Sept. 24, 2017, when 1,800 fans poured in to watch Seattle U host Washington.
• Seattle U was voted to take second in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC), according to the Preseason Coaches' Poll.
• Seattle U scored the first two goals of the game, but Portland rallied for a 3-2 win on Sept. 17. Noe Meza and Levonte Johnson each scored in the Caffe D'arte Coffee Cup at Merlo Field.
• The Redhawks rallied to defeat Dartmouth, 3-2 in overtime, on Sept. 12. James Morris scored in the 93rd minute for SU's second OT win in six days. Alex-Acton Petronotis and Hal Uderitz each scored in regulation as Seattle U wracked up a season-high 14 corner kicks. Both regulation goals came off corner kick situations.
• SU fell, 2-1, to No. 14 Oregon State on Sept. 10. Akili Kasim posted three saves in the match at Championship Field. OSU scored two goals early in the second half to take control of the contest.
• Seattle U claimed a 1-0 double-overtime win at No. 24 Duke on Sept. 6, as Alex Acton-Petronotis scored in the 106th minute. The victory marked SU's first-ever over an ACC program.
• SU's win over No. 24 Duke is the Redhawks' first victory over a nationally-ranked opponent since Sept. 23, 2018, when Seattle U knocked off No. 16 Washington.
• The Redhawks led for much of the night and held a 2-0 lead late in the second half, but Charlotte rallied for a 3-2 win on Sept. 2. Josh Castrillon and Noe Meza scored, while Akili Kasim recorded seven saves in net.
• In his 29th career appearance, defender Josh Castrillon claimed his first goal as a Redhawk at Charlotte on Sept. 2. He had previously dished out one assist for his lone point in 2019.
