BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Seattle U women's golf travels to Boulder City, Nevada, on Sunday to take part in the Clash at Boulder Creek, hosted by Northern Arizona. The three-day event is scheduled to take place from October 24-26 at Boulder Creek Golf Course on the 6,309 yards course with a par of 72. All three days will feature shotgun starts, with Sunday starting at 12 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday beginning at 8 a.m.
"Our goal will be the same as always, focus on the process and handle it one shot at a time," said Head Coach Marc Chandonnet. "This is one of the strongest fields we have competed in this fall and we can't wait to get back on the road. We are fortunate to have some experience on this course with the Western Athletic Conference Tournament being held their last spring. Hopefully we are able to use that to our advantage in our game planning."
SU will be competing against golfers from California Baptist, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Grand Canyon, Long Beach State, Northern Arizona, North Dakota, Portland State, Sacramento State, San Francisco, South Dakota State, Southern Utah, UC Riverside, UNLV, Utah Valley, Weber State, and Wyoming. The Redhawks will send graduate student Keisha Lugito, senior Samantha Bruce and freshman Maria Fedorowycz, Shayna Lu and Rivekka Jumagulova.
