Lauren McCabe had a career-high in kills without a single error as Seattle U won in four sets.

BEAUMONT, Texas  – The Seattle U Redhawks roared to a road win over Lamar Saturday, winning 20-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-19. The Redhawks hit a season-high .305, with five different Redhawks hitting over .300. Ezgi Ozkan and Lauren McCabe led the way, combining for 15 kills and no errors.
 
McCabe hit a blistering .643 in the match, with nine kills in 14 swings to go along with four blocks. Sierra Bartley had another outstanding game, matching her career high with 17 kills while making just three errors. Bartley would add seven digs, a Seattle U career high, and three blocks as well.
 
Sam Hayward and Sofia Sanchez each had nine kills, joining McCabe in that regard. The duo of Ozkan and Darian Goins each had 20-assist matches, with Goins leading the team with 22 and Ozkan just behind with 21.
 
After recording a career-best ten blocks yesterday, Julia Queiroz had five more today, including two solo blocks. That gives Queiroz 12 solo blocks this year, the fifth-highest single-season total in Seattle U history.
 
The final home games of the regular season are next, as the Redhawks host Grand Canyon on Thursday, October 28 for Pride Night and on Saturday, October 30 host New Mexico State for Senior Day.
