PULLMAN, Wash. - Seattle U women's tennis has two of its singles players and one of its double's pairings in their respective bracket's championship match after play concluded on Saturday at the WSU Cougar Classic.

In the Crimson singles draw, freshman Elena Kraleva has put together three straight wins. First, she battled against Portland State's Makoto Ohara, winning 6-4, 7-6. Kraleva followed that up by beating Idaho's Andrea Redondo in identical sets of 6-4, 6-4. The semifinal match was extremely close, but Kraleva prevailed against Boise State's Holly Stewart, winning the match 6-3, 2-6 (13-11).

Kraleva will compete against Washington State's Savannah Ly-Nguyen for the championship in the Crimson singles bracket at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Fellow Freshman Mireia Fehr has dominated in the Red singles bracket, beating Utah State's Brooke Demerath and Montana's Aili Hietala by a score of 6-1, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-1, respectively.

Fehr will match up against Portland State's Majo Hernandez at 9 a.m. on Sunday for the championship in the Reds singles draw.

The doubles pairing of Kraleva and freshman Jade Quintana has performed extremely well as they are 2-0 and head into the finals of the Crimson doubles bracket. They defeated the Washington State pairing of Fifa Kumhom and Ly-Nguyen, 8-5, and Idaho's Katherina Jhan and Ines Oliveira, 8-6.

Kraleva and Quintana will battle against Boise State's Stewart and Nicole Discenza for the championship in the Crimson doubles bracket at 8 a.m. on Sunday.

Quintana also enjoyed some success in the Red singles draw as she finds herself playing in the third-place match after going 1-1 in her two matches. She started her first match against Utah State's Zeynap Ozturk slowly but was able to recover in the second set to earn the victory, 2-6, 7-5 (10-7). Quintana then fell to Portland State's Hernandez, 6-1, 6-3, and is scheduled to matchup against Montana's Hietala at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Seattle U's second doubles pairing of freshmen Liliya Dimova and Fehr will also be competing in a third-place match as they defeated Portland State's Maddie Egan and Idaho's Jayanne Palma, 8-4, before dropping the match to Montana's Lauren Dunlap and Rosie Sterk, 6-8. They will face off with Eastern Washington's Isabella Foshee and Jennifer Kida at 8 a.m. on Sunday in the Gray doubles third place match.
