BOULDER CITY, Nev. - After two rounds of play at the 2021 Western Athletic Men's Golf Conference Championships, Seattle U men's golf sits in fifth place. The Redhawks posted a team score of 19-over 307, while New Mexico State holds their lead at 12-under.
Junior Nathan Cogswell held his spot in the top five, finishing with a two round stroke total of 3-under (67-74). Junior Jack Rahon (70-78) and senior Gabe Spach (71-78) were unable to continue with their strong performances in round one, while junior Federico Gutierrez finished the round with a two round score of 150 (73-77). Rounding out the team score is sophomore Will Koepke, finishing with a two round score of 154 (76-78).
The third and final round of the WAC Championships will begin on Sunday, May 2 at 8 a.m. with Seattle U's first golfer teeing off at 8:40 a.m.
