BOULDER CITY, Nev. - After exactly a month following its last competition, Seattle U men's golf is ready to head to Boulder City, Nev., on Friday to compete in the 2021 Western Athletic Men's Golf Conference Championships at the Boulder Creek Golf Club. The three day event will be held from Apr. 30-May 2 on the 7,482 yards course with a par of 72.

"I am fired up for a great week," said Head Coach Marc Chandonnet. "Our team manager, Tommy Mulflur, said it best this morning in our group text, start fueling right, focusing in on putting your best effort forward and remember that I would take our six over the field any day. I couldn't agree more with his statements and I really appreciate all the work we have put in leading up to this event."

Seattle U's travel roster will include senior Gabe Spach, juniors Nathan Cogswell, Jack Rahon and Federico Gutierrez and sophomore Will Koepke. Traveling as the sixth/substitute player will be freshman Blake Kukula. Day one will start with an 8 a.m. tee time, with the first Redhawk teeing off at 8:40 a.m.

"It will be important to get off to a good start each day," said Chandonnet. "After spending last week there with the women's team, I am confident that our game plan and better understanding of the facility will allow us to put together a good performance. I am looking forward to righting the ship and playing the type of golf I know we are capable of."
