SU Holds Third After Two Rounds

BOULDER CITY, Nev. - After two rounds of play at the 2021 Western Athletic Conference tournament, Seattle U women's golf sits in third place with a team score of 19-over 595. Grand Canyon now ranks atop at 4-under and New Mexico State is close behind at 2-under.

BOULDER CITY, Nev. - After two rounds of play at the 2021 Western Athletic Conference tournament, Seattle U women's golf sits in third place with a team score of 19-over 595. Grand Canyon now ranks atop at 4-under and New Mexico State is close behind at 2-under. 

Senior Kimberlee Tottori is still tied for third place with a two round total of 1-under 143. Tottori started off slow on the front nine, shooting 2-over but regained her composure on the back nine shooting 2-under. She ended the round with a score of 72 and leads the tournament in par three scoring at 2-under. 

Behind Tottori, was junior Samantha Bruce (76-75) and senior Keisha Lugito (75-76) who sit in a tie for 19th with a two round total of 151. Sophomore Megan Kelly greatly improved on her first round score, moving her into a tie for 21st place with a two round total of 153 (78-75), while fellow sophomore Azumi Arai rounds out the team score with a two round total of 155 (75-80).

The third and final round of the WAC Championships begin on Wednesday, Apr. 21 at 8 a.m. with Seattle U being one of the last teams to tee off at 9:30 a.m.
