Tottori, Redhawks Tied for Third After Round One

BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Seattle U women's golf was the first team to finish up play in round one of the 2021 Western Athletic Conference tournament on Monday, finishing in a tie for third place as a team. The Redhawks are tied with Utah Valley at 9-over, while New Mexico State sits atop the leader board with a stroke total of 1-under.

BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Seattle U women's golf was the first team to finish up play in round one of the 2021 Western Athletic Conference tournament on Monday, finishing in a tie for third place as a team. The Redhawks are tied with Utah Valley at 9-over, while New Mexico State sits atop the leader board with a stroke total of 1-under.

Senior Kimberlee Tottori led the way for SU, ending the round with a shot total of 71. Tottori sits in a tie for third place overall with three other golfers.

Senior Keisha Lugito and sophomore Azumi Arai follow behind Tottori as they both had a shot total of 75 and are tied for 13th place. Lugito is currently tied for first place in birdies made with five after round one. 

Just one stroke behind them, Junior Samantha Bruce finished with a shot total of 76, putting her in a tie for 18th place. Rounding out Seattle U's team score is sophomore Megan Kelly who had a first round shot total of 78. 

Round two of the WAC Championships starts on Tuesday, Apr. 20 at 8 a.m with the Redhawks being one of the last teams to start at 9:30 a.m.
