SEATTLE – Seattle University men's soccer fell, 4-0, at No. 7 Washington on Wednesday night. With the win, the Huskies keep the WAC/101 Club Cup.

UW scored first, with Dylan Teves finding the back of the net in the third minute to gain early control. Seattle U was the better side for much of the rest of the half, possessing well and using a variety of attacking styles. It earned all four corner kicks in the period.

Noe Meza settled the ball and fired a shot that forced a diving save by the UW goalkeeper. In the final seconds of the frame, Munier Hussen came hustling in and fired a shot that just missed an open net.

In the second half, SU worked for the tying goal and a long James Morris run nearly resulted in a score. His shot just missed wide and the Huskies went the other way and eventually claimed a penalty kick chance. Teves converted for a 2-0 advantage in the 51st minute.

The hosts added two more goals as the half rolled on.

Akili Kasim made three saves, while goalkeeper Zach Nelson made his SU debut in the closing minutes of the second frame.

The Redhawks return to WAC action with a game at Air Force. The match has been rescheduled and is now set for a 11 a.m. Pacific kickoff on Tuesday, Mar. 16.
