FRESNO, Calif. - Seattle U men's golf is scheduled to tee off its 2021 schedule when they travel to Fresno, Calif., to take on a very strong field at the Nick Watney Invitational, hosted by Fresno State at the Sunnyside Country Club from Feb. 8-9.
"I think we are all excited to get back to competing," said Head Coach Marc Chandonnet. "Although it won't be quite the same as it was before, it will still be nice to have some small piece of normalcy back. The team has been very positive during the downtime, their heads seem to be in the right place and they have certainly worked hard preparing for this moment. We are no longer heading to these events hoping to be competitive, we are looking to win."
The Redhawks will be competing against golfers from Brigham Young, Gonzaga, Idaho, Long Beach, Pacific, Saint Mary's, Loyola Marymount and the hosts Fresno State. Seattle U will send senior Gabe Spach, juniors Jack Rahon and Nathan Cogswell, sophomore Will Koepke and freshman Blake Kukula.
