SEATTLE — Seattle U volleyball opens the home slate of its Spring 2021 schedule as it hosts Division I-newcomer Tarleton in with back-to-back matches. First serve of the series opener is slated for 6 pm PT on Monday, Feb. 8, while the second match is scheduled for 2 pm PT on Tuesday, Feb. 9. Both matches can be seen on ESPN+ for those fans in the United States, while International viewers will still be able to tune into the WAC Digital Network.

OPPONENT PREVIEW: TARLETON

• Tarleton is in its first season of transition to Division I and are known as the Texans.
• Tarleton is 0-4 this season in WAC play and 2-6 overall.
• Tarleton was picked to be part of three-way tie for sixth, along with Seattle U and Dixie State.

• No they don't ... first-ever meeting.

• The 2020-21 academic year marks the first season for head coach Michelle Cole ... Cole announced as the program's fourth Divison I head coach on Feb. 6, 2020.
• Since 1999, Seattle U is 11-10 in its home opener, including three of its last five.  
• The 2020-21 academic year marks the 22nd season of Seattle U volleyball since the program was reinstatement in 1999 ... this season is also the Redhawks' 13th as a NCAA Division I-member and ninth as part of the WAC.
• The Redhawks begin the year with 25,750 kills, 30,408 digs and 4,226 total blocks, since the start of 1999 season.
