• Seattle U was picked to win the WAC, according to the Preseason Coaches' Poll. It marks the fifth time in the last seven seasons that SU is the preseason favorite.
• Senior Noe Meza was voted WAC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and junior Alex Acton-Petronotis was named WAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. Meza and Acton-Petronotis joined junior Akili Kasim and sophomore James Morris on the Preseason All-WAC team.
• Seattle U is the lone Division I program to win at least 11 games in each of the last seven seasons.
• SU has won an NCAA Tournament match in each of its four Division I appearances. It won at Creighton (2013), at home against UCLA (2015), at Washington (2017), and at Loyola Marymount (2019).
• Seattle U enters the contest on a 16-game unbeaten streak. Its unbeaten streak is the longest active streak in Division I entering this season.
• The Redhawks have won four WAC Tournament crowns (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019).
• In 2019, James Morris became the fourth Redhawk to win WAC Freshman of the Year since 2013. Kyle Bjornethun (2013), Sergio Rivas (2015), and Declan McGlynn (2018) have also taken home the honor.
• In 2019, Pete Fewing was picked WAC Coach of the Year for the third time since 2013. He has also won the award in 2013 and 2015. All three times SU has won the WAC regular-season title, Fewing has been chosen as top coach.

• Coach Pete Fewing is in his 27th season at Seattle U. Since 2013, he has taken the Redhawks to four NCAA Tournaments, winning four WAC Tournament crowns, and three WAC regular-season titles.
