SEATTLE – Seattle U track and field finished up at the Husky Classic on Saturday, posting some solid times and two new personal records against several of the nation's best squads after two days at the University of Washington's Dempsey Indoor facility.
 
On the men's side, sophomore Isaiah Payne posted a 60m time of 6.95, a personal best and just 0.03 seconds away from the school record. He also took second place in the 200m dash, finishing at 22.07. Sophomore Zach Gonzalez performed well in the 400m dash with a time of 50.20, while junior Nathan Pixler continued to chase his own school record in the 800m run, finishing the race in 1:53.90.
 
For the women, freshman Maya McCabe posted a personal best of her own in the 800m run at 2:14.54, with senior Siobhan Rubio following close behind at 2:14.75. Senior Michelle Newblom (8.99) broke nine seconds once again in the 60m hurdles, while sophomore Regie Grady entered the 400m dash, finishing in 58.14.
 
The Redhawks will finish the regular indoor season on Friday, Feb. 21 at the Last Chance College Elite, held at the Dempsey Indoor facility. The first events will begin at 2:00 p.m. PT.
