SEATTLE –
Seattle U Track and Field completed their third meet of the season on Saturday after entering a total of 17 athletes into a formidable field at the UW Invitational. The two-day meet featured athletes from some of the best collegiate programs in the country, as well as a number of elite track and field clubs.

The Redhawk men posted some impressive finishes and four total personal records over the past two days. Sophomore Zach Gonzalez continued his impressive season in the 400m dash with a personal-best 49.81 seconds, good for first place in his heat. Classmate Lucas Milne finished the 60m hurdles in 8.83 seconds, a personal record and just 0.1 seconds above the school record. In the 800m run, junior Nathan Pixler placed first in his heat at 1.53.94, barely missing his own school record by 0.70 seconds. Sophomore Ansel Pendley-Griffin and freshman Tom Topinka set their own personal bests in the mile run and 200m dash, respectively, while sophomore Isaiah Payne finished in seventh place (first in his heat) with a 200m time of 22.13. Pendley-Griffin's time was a six-second improvement over his former mark.

On the women's side, sophomore Regie Grady set a new personal record in the 200m dash with her time of 25.98, which was also good for first place in her heat. She also impressed in the 400m dash, again placing first in her heat with 57.81, which stands at only .14 above the current program record and is an indoor personal best by two seconds. In the 800m run, freshman Maya McCabe finished with an indoor PR of 2:15.91, while Delaney Griffin ran an indoor personal best of her own in the 3k run.
