Each week this fall, GoSeattleU.com will take a look back at memorable moments from the last decade of Seattle U Athletics history that occurred during that week.

Men's Soccer
The Redhawks beat No. 14 Akron, 2-1, at Championship Field on Sept. 7, 2018. Sergio Rivas scored in the 75th minute to lift SU to a key win over the Zips, who qualified for the 2017 Final Four.

Women's Soccer
Breanna Smallidge made four saves in a 2-0 shutout of Purdue on Sept. 13, 2015. Summer Mason and Hannah Carrothers scored as the Redhawks claimed their first-ever win over a Big Ten program.

Volleyball
Jacquie Brice helped volleyball to a five-set victory over Boise State at the Redhawk Center, as she dished a then-program-best 61 assists on Sept. 11, 2012. The Redhawks won the first and third frames, while the Broncos claimed set two and four. In the fifth, the Seattle U trailed early but rallied midway through to take led 8-7 at the turn. A 3-0 spurt helped Boise State pull even at 12-12, but Brice set up Kaytlyn Dill (27 kills, 13 digs) to make it 14-12 and again for the match point. Brice's record is now third-overall in the program's Division I history.

Golf
Caitlin McCleary wins the Circling Raven Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Gonzaga University, on Sept. 13, 2011. McCleary shot 70-70-76 to win the event, becoming the first Seattle University golfer to win a Division I tournament since Dave Wahlin won the 1980 West Coast Athletic Conference Championships.
