SEATTLE – Seattle U women's golf Head Coach Marc Chandonnet announced the addition of Hamburg, Germany, native Megan Kelly to the Redhawk squad beginning in the fall of 2020. Kelly will join the Redhawks as a sophomore after spending her freshman collegiate season Keiser University in West Palms Beach, Fla..

"We are beyond excited to add Megan to our roster next fall and very confident that she will have an immediate impact as a player, a student and a leader," said Chandonnet. "She has all of the qualities I search for in a recruit and, as a transfer, has had a year to mature and prove that she can win at the collegiate level. I believe without a doubt she has the golf to help us compete and reach our goals as a team."

Kelly starred for the NAIA Hawks this past year, collecting a 77.33 scoring average in 21 rounds over eight tournaments. She shot a season-low round of 70, was a one-time Sun Conference Player of the Week, ended the season with four straight top-10 finishes, won the NAIA Championsgate Invitational and was named a Second Team Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American. She concluded the year as the highest ranked freshman among all NAIA players.

Prior to Keiser University, Kelly competed as a junior on the Faldo series, Austrian Junior Open and the Junior Golf Tour.

Kelly, a Dean's List and President's List honoree at Keiser, will major in Business Analytics at Seattle U.
