2020 SCHEDULE
SEATTLE – Seattle University softball has altered its schedule for this weekend, as Stony Brook and Portland State have elected not to play games scheduled at Seattle U due to travel concerns related to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The Redhawks will now host Utah in a single-game in the 2020 home opener on Thursday. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. at Logan Field.
SU will welcome the Utes for its first game at Logan Field this season. The Redhawks have faced a tough schedule to this point, having taken on five teams ranked in this week's NFCA Top 25. Utah is among those receiving votes in this week's poll.
The Utes beat Seattle U, 6-3, at the Kajikawa Classic on the season's first weekend. Madison Cathcart homered in the contest.
The Redhawks head to California Baptist to begin WAC action on Mar. 20-21.
