STANFORD, CALIF. – Seattle U women’s tennis will enter their final tournament of the fall season this week, taking on a field of 128 singles players and 64 doubles pairs in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northwest Championships. The competition will last from Oct. 18-22 at the Family Tennis Stadium at Stanford University.
Doubles play on Friday begins at 8:30 a.m. PT, while singles will kick off at 10:00 a.m. Saturday’s competition will start at 9:00 a.m. for doubles and 10:30 for singles, while Sunday’s slate features a 10:00 a.m. doubles start and a 12:00 singles start. The start times for Monday and Tuesday are still to be determined.
Athletes from Cal Poly, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Oregon, Pacific, Portland, Portland State, Sacramento State, San Francisco, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Seattle U, St. Mary’s, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, Washington and Washington State are featured in the tournament.
