SEATTLE – (May 8) Seattle University rowing raced three boats at the 31st Annual Windemere Cup on the Montlake Cut Saturday, finishing with a trio of third place finishes. The regatta is held as part of Seattle's Opening Day of Boating Season and is followed by the Seattle Yacht Club's Opening Day Boat Parade.
The Redhawks took third in the collegiate 3V8+, the collegiate open 8+ and the collegiate 4+.
“This is always such a fun race to end the novices' season and we had good competition and raced well," said Head Coach Jenny Park. "The Varsity 8+ is working hard this week to wrap up the season at PCRCs.”
Seattle U wraps up the 2016-17 season on Saturday, May 13 at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif.
