SEATTLE - (Oct. 20) Seattle University men’s soccer hosts UNLV on senior night Thursday, Oct. 27. The WAC match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start at Championship Field.

ABOUT THE REDHAWKS (10-4-1, 6-0-1 WAC)
• Seattle U extended its home win streak to 15 matches with a 3-0 win over UTRGV on Sunday (Oct. 23). Three different Redhawks scored and the SU defense held the Vaqueros scoreless. Kyle Bjornethun earned WAC Defensive Player of the Week honors, as he helped the back line allow just one goal in two outings last week.
• The Redhawks enter Thursday with the longest home winning streak in Division I. They have claimed 15 consecutive victories at Championship Field, dating back to September 2015. SU’s run tops #1 Maryland’s 14-match home streak. Overall, Seattle U is on an eight-match unbeaten streak.
• Prior to the match, the Redhawks will recognize their eight seniors. Bjornethun, Shane Mahvi, Cameron Rohani, Sam Langston, Jordan Hadden, Jeff Rose, Patrick Clifford, and Joseph Harris will be honored before playing in their final home regular season contest. The group has won 50 games in the last four seasons, including a pair of WAC Championships and two WAC regular season titles. • Hadden ranks fourth nationally with an .879 save percentage, best in the WAC. The goalie is fifth in Division I in goals against average (0.476) this season.
• Seattle U leads the WAC in shots (15.1 per game) and save percentage (.785). The squad stands in the top ten nationally in goals (eighth at 31) and assists (ninth at 29).
• Thirteen different Redhawks have combined to score 31 goals through 16 games.
Alex Roldan has seven goals and three assists through 16 games to lead the Redhawks with 17 points. The senior also leads the WAC with four game-winning goals.
• Thirteen different players have posted at least one assist, including Jeff Rose and Sergio Rivas who each have a team-high five.
• The Redhawks were the preseason favorite to repeat as Western Athletic Conference champions, according to a vote by the league’s 11 head coaches.
• Senior defender Kyle Bjornethun and junior forward David Olsen were selected as WAC Preseason Defensive and Offensive Player of the Year, respectively.
• The duo were also named to the watch list for the 2016 Missouri Athletic Club’s (MAC) Hermann Trophy. Olsen was a semifinalist for the 2015 WAC Hermann Trophy, Bjornthun was the 2015 WAC Defensive Player of the Year. The two were also named NSCAA All-Americans last season with Olsen earning first team honors and Bjornethun picking up second team honors.

ABOUT THE REBELS (6-9-1, 4-2-1 WAC)
The Rebels defeated Houston Baptist, 1-0, on Sunday. Memo Diaz scored the game-winner and Enrique Adame tallied six saves in net. Danny Musovski paces the WAC with nine goals and his goals per game average (0.75) ranks eighth in the country.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST UNLV
Seattle U is 5-4-0 all-time against the Rebels. SU won, 3-2, at UNLV on Oct. 23, 2015, as Roldan, Langston, and Bjornethun each scored. Bjornethun’s goal in the 87th minute was the difference for the Redhawks.
