On Friday, Sept. 22, the Redhawks face UC Riverside at 7 p.m. The road swing concludes Sunday, Sept. 24 with a noon kick off at Cal Poly.

ABOUT THE REDHAWKS
• The Redhawks snapped a three-game skip with a 1-0 shutout of Gonzaga on Sunday, Sept. 18.
• Jennifer Plummer scored the game-winner in the win over the Zags, her first goal of the season. Ayana Robles and Natasha Howe were credited with assists on the goal.
• Redshirt freshman Ashley Routh has played all but nine minutes in goal and holds a .696 save percentage to go along with a 0.86 GAA. She now has three shutouts on the year.
• Senior transfer Brie Hooks has scored four goals for the Redhawks, most recently the lone score in a 2-1 setback to Idaho.
• Stephanie Spiekerman was named WAC Defensive of the Week on Aug. 22 after playing the entire 90 minutes in the 1-0 shutout win against Texas (Aug. 19) as a center back. She held down the SU back line, limiting Texas to just one shot on goal despite 17 total attempts.
• The Redhawks begin this season as the co-favorite to finish atop the Western Athletic Conference standings in a preseason vote of the league’s eight head coaches.
• Three players were also named to the 11-member Preseason All-WAC Team, including sophomore forward Kari White, redshirt sophomore midfielder Isabelle Butterfield and junior defender Stephanie Spiekerman.
• Seattle U went 14-3-3 overall and 8-0-2 in WAC play in 2015, claiming the 2015 regular-season title before falling to UVU in the championship match of the WAC Tournament.
• The Redhawks return six starters from last year’s squad, along with a pair of key players from the 2014 lineup who redshirted last fall and senior transfer Brie Hooks who was the University of Colorado Female Athlete of the Year and an All-Pac-12 Second Team selection in 2014.
ABOUT THE HIGHLANDERS (3-3-3)
UC Riverside is 3-3-3 on the year. The Highlanders have won two of their last three, including 3-0 wins against Akron and Houston. Most recently they fell 2-1 to then No. 8 Texas A&M. Taylor Dragoo leads UCR with three goals while nine total players have scored at least once. The Highlanders have 11 goals through nine games. Alanna Guzman has played eight of nine games in goal, posting a 1.15 GAA and making 49 saves.

Seattle U and UCR have met just twice all-time, each winning one meeting. SU won the most recent meeting, 1-0, during the 2010 season.
ABOUT THE MUSTANGS (4-4-1)
Cal Poly enters the week carrying a 4-4-1 overall record. The Mustangs host Pepperdine on Friday before meeting Seattle U on Sunday. Caitlyn Kruetz leads the team with three goals and three assists for nine points. Six other Mustangs have also scored at least once while five other players have hat least one assist.
