The Seattle University men’s soccer team, the program’s first NCAA ADI Sweet 16 participants, celebrated their historic 2015 season in a banquet last Thursday on Seattle University’s campus. The banquet included not only team members but family, support staff, and numerous alumni.

Head coach Pete Fewing celebrated and acknowledged all interested parties who contributed to the team’s success, also presenting his coaching staff with personal mementos and the graduating senior class with framed jerseys.

The coaching staff presented several awards including Most Inspirational (Hamza Haddadi), Most Improved (Michael Roberts), Goal of the Year (Sergio Rivas vs. Harvard), Defensive Player of the Year (Kyle Bjornethun), Offensive Player of the Year (David Olsen), Coach’s Awards (Senior Class), and the Golden Boot (David Olsen).

As part of the banquet, the 2015 team also received their WAC championship rings.
