Michelle Lui (Bellevue, Wash.) and Kelli Woodman (Denver, Colo.) earned a 7-6 win at No. 1 doubles but it was ultimately after Idaho had clinched the doubles point. The Vandals finished with three straight singles wins to clinch the match.
“Idaho played well today in the wind and deserved to win,” said Reeb. “We didn’t quite play our best, but our effort was there. We’ll look to have a great few days of practice early next week before heading to Texas for the WAC Tournament next weekend. If we have the right mindset going into the conference tournament, I know we will be happy with the result.”
