While holding New Mexico State (23-16, 3-0 WAC) to a closer margin on day two, Seattle University softball (14-22, 0-3 WAC) ultimately dropped both games of the series-ending doubleheader, 2-0 in game one and 5-0 in game two.

Senior Isabella Geronimo (San Mateo, Calif.) led the Redhawks at the plate, batting .400 (2-for-5) on the day with a double in two starts. Paige Bouska (Keizer, Ore.) also collected two hits in six at bats on the day (.333). Geronimo has collected at least one hit in 10 of the last 11 games while Bouska has completed the feat in 13 of the last 16 outings.

In the circle, Andie Larkins (Tuscon, Ariz.) and Alyssa Reuble (Lynnwood, Wash.) earned decisions in the pair of games, striking out three and four batters, collectively.

The Redhawks return home next weekend for the first time since Mar. 9 for a three-game series vs. Grand Canyon. SU hosts the ‘Lopes in a doubleheader on Friday, Apr. 8 at 4 pm followed by the series finale on Saturday, Apr. 9 at 2 pm.
