THE STAGE IS SET
Seattle U regained the top spot in league standings after this weekend as Utah Valley suffered their first WAC loss at Grand Canyon on Friday, Oct. 23. This sets up a battle for the 2015 WAC regular season title on Saturday, as the Redhawks can capture their third straight with a win or tie this weekend vs. the Wolverines.

SENIOR NIGHT
Prior to Saturday's match, this year's graduating class (Kelly Beck, Julia Moravec, Brianna Smallidge, Kiana Kraft, Sarah Coluccio, and Stephanie Conard) will be honored as part of the evening's festivities.

COSTUME=FREE ADMISSION
Those who wear a costume to Saturday’s Halloween night game will receive free admission to the match.  

SCOUTING UTAH VALLEY (12-5-1, 7-1-1 WAC)
Seattle U is 4-0-1 vs. Utah Valley in the past three seasons as league opponents, as the teams tied, 1-1 earlier this season in Orem on Sept. 26, 2015. The Wolverines are led in scoring by Sheridan Fox (8 goals) and led in assists and points by Kasandra Anderson (8 assists; 20 points). In goal, Jessica Duffin has made all 18 starts, allowing 23 goals (1.31 GAA) and making 58 saves (71.6 percent). Prior to last weekend, suffering their first WAC loss of the season at Grand Canyon, 1-0,  on Oct. 23, UVU sat on top of league standings but is now one point behind SU.

TICKETS
For all home games, single game tickets can be purchased online (Ticketmaster), by phone (206-398-GOSU), at the SU Ticket Office (1218 E Cherry), or starting 60 minutes prior to kickoff at the NE entrance to Championship Field. For season tickets, the Redhawk Sports Pass allows for GA seating for all men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, and baseball home contests.

NO SOUP FOR YOU
The Redhawks have 11 shutouts this season, including five straight (Oct. 2-Oct. 16). The team outscored their opponents 17-0 during the 541 minutes and 35 seconds of the shutout streak. The Redhawks are also on a 14-game unbeaten streak, with their last loss coming at UW on Aug. 28. Through the month of October with one game remaining, Seattle U has outscored their opponents 25-2.

SU AMONG NSCAA ELITE ACADEMICALLY
Seattle U is one of just over 200 schools whose men’s and women’s soccer teams both received the 2014-15 NSCAA Team Academic Award. This is the second straight year both teams have received the award while it marks the fifth consecutive year for the women.

WOODWARD’S 250TH
Head coach Julie Woodward picked up her 250th career win in a 1-0 shutout at Gonzaga on Sept. 4. Kyla Danforth scored her first career goal in the win while Brianna Smallidge earned her 17th career shutout. Her 200th career win came four seasons ago on Sept. 18, 2011 vs. San Diego State, a 3-1 win to conclude the UNLV NIKE Invitational.
