SCOUTING CSUB (5-9-2, 3-3-1 WAC)
The Redhawks recorded their fifth straight shutout this season vs. the Roadrunners, 3-0, on Oct. 16 in Seattle. Of note, Rosalie Sittauer scored her first career goal in the match while Karli White scored her team-high seventh goal of the season and Kiana Kraft added to the scoring mix. Coming into last weekend, CSUB had won three of their last four and has now lost three of their last four after being swept at SU and Utah Valley last weekend. Aminah Settles has scored seven goals in WAC play alone for the ‘Runners while Haley Vicente follows with five. In goal, Tori Ornela has seen the majority of action with 11 GA (1.60 GAA) in 616 minutes of play.

SCOUTING GCU (6-8-2, 3-3-1 WAC)
The Redhawks extended their 12-game unbeaten streak behind a pair of goals by Julia Moravec with a 3-2 victory vs. the Lopes in Seattle last Sunday, despite GCU breaking SU’s shutout streak. Milla Benedetti is the Lopes’ goal (7) and points (16) leader while, in goal, Blakely Fraasch (16 GS, 25 GA, 1.69 GAA) has seen the majority of action. After sweeping Chicago State and UMKC two weekends ago, GCU was swept at UVU and SU last weekend. The Lopes, in their third year of NCAA Division I reclassification, will not be eligible for postseason championships until 2017-18.

HOMEGROWN

TICKETS
For all home games, single game tickets can be purchased online (Ticketmaster), by phone (206-398-GOSU), at the SU Ticket Office (1218 E Cherry), or starting 60 minutes prior to kickoff at the NE entrance to Championship Field. For season tickets, the Redhawk Sports Pass allows for GA seating for all men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, and baseball home contests.

NO SOUP FOR YOU
The Redhawks have nine shutouts this season, including five straight (Oct. 2-Oct. 16). The team outscored their opponents 17-0 during the 541 minutes and 35 seconds of the shutout streak. The Redhawks are also on a 12-game unbeaten streak, with their last loss coming at UW on Aug. 28.

SU AMONG NSCAA ELITE ACADEMICALLY
Seattle U is one of just over 200 schools whose men’s and women’s soccer teams both received the 2014-15 NSCAA Team Academic Award. This is the second straight year both teams have received the award while it marks the fifth consecutive year for the women.

FRESHMEN MAKING THEIR MARK
Three of the Redhawks’ top five goal scorers are freshmen. Karli White (7g, 21 pts), Summer Mason (4g, 9 pts), and Kyla Danfort (2g, 4 pts) are among SU’s top five while Julia Moravec (7g, 21 pts) and Kelly Beck (2g, 4 pts) also rank among the top.
