SCOUTING NO. 10 WASHINGTON (4-0-2)
The Huskies are unbeaten thus far in 2015 with scoreless draws vs. Penn (Sept. 4) and, most recently, vs. Harvard (Sept. 20). James Moberg leads the team in scoring with three goals for six points while, in goal, Ryan Herman has earned five of six starts (0.37 GAA, 14 saves, .875 save pct.). As a team, the Huskies rank second in shutout pct. (0.83), sixth in team GAA (0.31), and eighth in save pct. (0.889) in the nation among all NCAA DI men’s soccer teams. Individually, Moberg ranks second in game-winners (3) while Herman ranks ninth in save pct. and 11th in GAA.
SCOUTING NO. 13 OREGON STATE (5-1-0)
The Beavers have earned big wins to start the season over Marquette, Michigan State, Vermount, Duquesne, and Cornell before falling to Portland, 1-0, most recently (Sept. 17),. Before hosting the Redhawks, the Beavers travel to Gonzaga. Timmy Mueller leads the team in scoring with four goals while Nolan Wirth has started five of six games in goal (0.59 GAA, .700 save pct.). Mueller ranks second in the nation in game-winners and sixth in shots on goal per game. Last season, the Redhawks handed then-No. 24 Oregon State just their second loss of the season on an Alex Roldan goal in the 35th minute.

For season tickets, the Redhawk Sports Pass allows for GA seating for all men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, and baseball home contests.
FEWING'S 250TH
Head coach Pete Fewing earned his 250th career win on Sunday, Sept. 20, a 2-1 come-from-behind victory vs. Dartmouth. David Olsen scored the game-winner late in the game to complete the Redhawk comeback.
SU AMONG NSCAA ELITE ACADEMICALLY
Seattle U is one of just over 200 schools whose men’s and women’s soccer teams both received the 2014-15 NSCAA Team Academic Award. This is the second straight year both teams have received the award while it marks the fifth consecutive year for the women.

BEST OF THE WEST
In the Sept. 22 version of the NSCAA NCAA Division I Men’s West Regional poll, four of 10 are members of the Western Athletic Conference. The Redhawks (5th) are joined by Utah Valley (3rd), UNLV (4th), and Incarnate Word (10th).
REDHAWKS PICKED TO WIN WAC
Seattle U was picked to win the 2015 WAC title in the league’s coaches’ preseason vote. Kyle Bjornethun was named WAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year while Hamza Haddadi and Shane Haworth also joined Bjornethun on the Preseason All-Conference team.
NATIONALLY RANKED REDHAWKS
In 2014, Seattle U earned the program’s first two Division I national rankings since reclassification in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Top 25. On Sept. 2, the Redhawks were ranked No. 22 and on Sept. 30, they were ranked No. 24.
HADDADI TIES WAC SCORING RECORD
Senior forward Hamza Haddadi scored four goals, three on PK’s all in the first half, in the Redhawks’ 6-0 season-opening win vs. UC Davis. His goal total tied the Western Athletic Conference record for individual goals in a match set by New Mexico’s Justin Sells in 1996.

In NCAA rankings through Sept. 21, the Redhawks rank in the top 25 in shots per game (4th), GAA (12th), shutout pct. (18th), and total goals (21st). Individually, forward Hamza Haddadi ranks in the top 15 in total goals (8th), total points (11th), and game-winners (13th) while keeper Shane Haworth ranks in the top 15 in save pct. (11th) and GAA (14th).
