As a team, Seattle U combined for a second-round score of 290 (+6), finishing in second place at 583 (+15), one stroke ahead of William & Mary and also ahead of schools such as Navy, Penn State, Georgetown, Gonzaga, and Temple. For the second straight day, Towson shot the best round at 285 (+1) to earn a 14-stroke victory at 569 (+1), while Georgetown’s Cole Berman earned medalist honors by winning a one-hole playoff over Alex Hicks of William & Mary, with each player finishing 36 holes at two-under-par 140.

“I'm proud of my team. We keep knocking on the door which is very impressive for four sophomores and a freshman. This is an exciting group to be at events with, and I love how hard they fight for every shot out there,” Seattle U head men’s golf coach Marc Chandonnet said.

The Seattle University men’s golf team completes its fall season with back-to-back runner-up finishes. The Redhawks return to action Jan. 26-27 at the Arizona Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Arizona at the Sewailo Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz.
