The Redhawks earned the doubles point, sweeping all three doubles matches in reverse order, as Kristen James(Lubbock, Texas)/Corinne Wurden(Poulsbo, Wash.) at No. 3 doubles and Gabriella Weissmann(Simi Valley, Calif.)/Sarah Lucas(Las Vegas, Nev.) at No. 2 doubles earned 6-1 victories followed by Kelli Woodman(Denver, Colo.)/Anna Lambert(Spokane, Wash.) earning a 6-4 victory at No. 1 doubles.
Lucas and Woodman extended the Seattle U lead, 3-0, on wins at No. 4 and No. 1 singles and Barbara Carey (Seattle, Wash.) secured the win with a victory at No. 3 singles.
Lambert, Wurden, and Weissmann would finish off the Warriors with a trio of singles wins as the Redhawks swept Lewis-Clark State, 7-0.
Seattle U is set to face Gonzaga on Friday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. before facing Idaho and Washington State on Saturday and Eastern Washington on Sunday to close out the weekend.
