Seattle University women’s tennis (0-5) closed out the weekend in their neighboring state to the east with a 7-0 loss at Boise State (4-0).
Sarah Lucas (Las Vegas, Nev.) and Gabriella Weissmann (Simi Valley, Calif.) came closest to a victory at No. 2 doubles, but fell 7-5, as Boise State earned the doubles point sweeping all three matches.
Boise State was able to come away with wins in each singles match, with the closest match coming at No. 3 singles as Barbara Carey (Seattle, Wash.) nearly took Milena Toseva to a tiebreaker in the first set, but the Redhawks ultimately fell 7-0.
Seattle U heads back across the mountains to face several opponents in eastern Washington and Idaho, starting with Lewis-Clark State on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 1 p.m.
