The camp will feature two different sessions, welcoming 14-18 year olds from 9am-1pm and nine to 13 year olds from 3pm-6 pm. The morning camp costs $75 while the afternoon camp costs $50. Campers at each session will train in all areas of the game including hitting, fielding, base running, and team play, and will prepare aspiring players for their upcoming tryouts.
Powers, the camp director, is in his 11th season at the helm in 2014 and led the Redhawks through their first season in the Western Athletic Conference last year. In 2013, he coached two All-Conference honorees in Bubba Morrow (Auburn, Wash.) and Isabella Geronimo (San Mateo, Calif.), as well as Allegra Wilde (Kennewick, Wash.), who was named to the Capital One Academic All-District VIII First Team.
