“He’s scored two terrific goals in the last three games,” said head coach Pete Fewing. “The overtime goal [versus Florida Gulf Coast] was in a sudden death situation, where it’s much easier to miss the goal than to score it. I was pleased with his effort coming off the bench and scoring that one. Also, he came in off the bench and scored a similar goal at San Jose State. It’s good to see Brady contributing in the goal scoring category, especially late in the game and it’s great to have more guys put goals in the back of the net. He’s worked hard and I’m happy for him. He’s stepped up in a very important way.”
At San Jose State on Oct. 5, Ballew scored his second goal of the season in the 26th minute to give the Redhawks a 2-0 lead before halftime on the way to the team’s 4-0 shutout. He tallied three total shots in the appearance.
Ballew has recorded two goals, an assist, 14 shots, five on frame, and one game-winning goal in seven starts and appearances in all 10 matches so far this season. He scored the game-winner in overtime vs. Florida Gulf Coast on Sept. 22.
Off the field, Ballew excels in the classroom with a 3.162 GPA as a strategic communications major.
