The Seattle University softball team had stronger at bats on day two, but it was not enough to overcome the deficit in either game, and they fell in both contests on the day, 9-2, and 6-3.

Game 1 - Northern Colorado 9, Seattle U 2

Northern Colorado started where they left off on the first day of the series, putting two runs on the board in the opening inning.

Seattle U scored one of their own in the top of the fifth and two more in the top of the sixth on a two-run double by Brianna Guerrero (Buena Park, Calif.), but the Bears added two runs of their own in the bottom of the fifth and sixth and came away with the 6-3 win.

Senior Hannah Klein entered the contest as a pinch hitter, going 1-for-1 in her final home contest as a Redhawk. Seattle U honored Klein in a senior day ceremony between the two contests.
