The Seattle University men's golf team saw its third different golfer lead the team in scoring for a particular round, holding off Hartford to maintain its sixth-place standing as the America Sky Men's Golf Conference Championships finished up Wednesday at the Troon North Golf Club.

Ian Dahl (Longview, Wash.) posted the Redhawks' best round of the entire tournament, shooting even-par 71 to move up into a tie for 12th place in the final standings with a cumulative score of 226 (+13). Dahl finished the tournament tied for fourth among the 60 golfers in total pars with 36 and tied for sixth in par-four scoring at seven-over-par.

Chris Holway (Longview, Wash.) and Paul Pavlos (Woodinville, Wash.) each finished in a tie for 20th place in the final standings with a three-round total of 230 (+17). One day after posting the team's best score of 72, Holway shot 80 (+9) in the final round, while Pavlos maintained his consistency with a second consecutive 77 (+6) in the third round.

Rob Seibly (Spokane, Wash.), the team's best golfer in the first round, posted a score of 87 (+16) in the final round to slide down into a tie for 45th place in the final standings with a 54-hole score of 244 (+31). Jordan Beals (Enumclaw, Wash.) posted his best round of the tournament, shooting 77 (+6) in the final round to end the championship in 54th place at 254 (+41).

As a team, Seattle University posted its best round of the championship, combining to shoot 305 (+21) to hold off Hartford and remain in sixth place with a final score of 920 (+68). Weber State moved past Sacramento State to earn the team title by three strokes, led by Nick Despain, whose final-round 68 (-3) enabled him to earn medalist honors by two strokes over Northern Colorado's Nick Bisogno.

The Seattle University men's golf program will look to bring an experienced squad back for the 2011-12 season in preparation for next year's America Sky Championships.
