Chris Holway (Longview, Wash.) shot 79 (+7) in the final round, but was able to remain Seattle U's top finisher, ending the tournament in a tie for 25th place with a final score of 226 (+10). Ian Dahl (Longview, Wash.) finished the final round with a 76 (+4) to end up in a tie for 36th place with a cumulative score of 229 (+13).
Jordan Beals (Enumclaw, Wash.) posted the best score of the day for the Redhawks, shooting 74 (+2) to move up into a tie for 62nd place in the final standings at 235 (+19). Rob Seibly (Spokane, Wash.) and Paul Pavlos (Woodinville, Wash.) each finished with a 54-hole score of 241 (+25) to land in a tie for 75th place, with Seibly shooting 84 (+12) and Pavlos posting a score of 80 (+8) in the third round.
As a team, Seattle University's third round score of 309 (+21) kept the Redhawks in 12th place with a final score of 924 (+60). Led by co-medalists Daniel Miernicki and Jack Dukeminier, who each shot 212 (-4), Oregon easily won the team title with a cumulative score of 852 (-12), 27 strokes ahead of second-place UC Santa Barbara.
The Seattle University men's golf team will take the next month to prepare for the America Sky Men's Golf Conference Championships, to take place at Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., May 2-4.
