Senior women's basketball player Ashley Brown (Kirkland, Wash.) was named to the Longwood All-Tournament Team, following her standout performance at the two day tournament in Farmville, Va.

"I thought she had a very good final game of her career," said head coach Joan Bonvicini. "She is a great shooter and we are very proud of how much she has improved this year. She had a good senior year and that is all you can ask of someone."

Brown scored 28 points, made nine rebounds, five steals and six assists in 68 minutes of play versus Florida Gulf Coast on Mar. 6, and North Carolina Central on Mar. 7. The forward scored a team-leading 21 points, including making five three-pointers, versus NCCU.
